FIA – Foundation In Accountancy
Our foundation level is the first step towards becoming a qualified finance professional. It provides you with the introductory skills you need to launch a successful career in finance and accounting and qualifies you for the ACCA professional qualification.
CAT- Certified Accounting Technician
The qualification proves to employers that you have all the technical skills and knowledge needed to perform an accounts-support role and that you are capable of working at a technician level.
In addition, once the qualification has been obtained you are able to continue your studies with the ACCA Qualification.
Entry Requirements– Successful completion of the Foundation in Accountancy Diploma.
ACCA Skill Level
The Fundamentals introduce you to both financial and management accounting techniques and cover the main technical areas which help you to become the strategic forward- thinking finance professional the world needs. It will equip you with the right blend of skills to have an immediate impact and add value in the workplace that all accountants are expected to master and also increase your employability. It comprises of 6 papers ranging from Law to Financial Management.
Entry Requirements– 2 A Levels/CAPE with 3 GCSE or CSEC grades with passes in Mathematics and English or completion of FIA/CAT qualification.
ACCA Professional level
At the Professional level you build on that knowledge and explore advanced skills and techniques. This level comprises of two compulsory papers and four options where you are required to complete two.

Oxford Brookes BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting
ACCA and Oxford Brookes University have worked together to develop a BSc in Applied Accounting, which is available exclusively to ACCA students who wish to obtain a degree while studying onwards to the ACCA Qualification.
